Welcome to the 2012 USAFL Board

Welcome to the 2012 USAFL Board Members who were elected at the 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Austin, TX on October 8. This year's Board includes a number of USA National team representatives and long time members of the USAFL community.

ANDY VANICA, PRESIDENT | Denver Bulldogs | USA Revolution

Andy joined the league in 2006 and has played as a member of the Boston Demons, Milwaukee Bombers and now Denver Bulldogs. He has also been a USA Revolution player since 2007, and competed at the AFL International Cup in both 2008 and 2011.

BRANDON BLANKENSHIP, VP WEST | San Diego Lions | USA Revolution

Brandon is a player and the current President of the San Diego Lions Football Club. He has been playing since 2003 and has been a part of the USA Revolution since 2005.

DANIEL SARBACKER, VP CENTRAL | Chicago United | USA Revolution Captain

Daniel has been playing footy since 2002. He captained the USA Revolution at the 2011 International Cup leading the team to a 4th place finish. Daniel has played with numerous clubs including the St. Louis Blues, Milwaukee Bombers, Mansfield Eagles (Australia), and now Chicago United.

Mike Sheppard

MICHAEL SHEPPARD, VP EAST | Boston Demons

Michael has been involved with Footy since 2005 with Latrobe University and then the Boston Demons as both a player and an administrator. Mike took on the role as VP East in 2010.

Andrea Casillas

ANDREA CASILLIAS, SECRETARY | New York Magpies | USA Freedom

Andrea began playing Footy in 2005 with the Arizona Lady Hawks and later founded the New York Magpies Women's team. She has also represented the USA Freedom since 2009 and competed at the 2011 International Cup. Andrea has been on the board since 2010 as Women’s Development Coordinator and Secretary.

Adam Coleman

ADAM COLEMAN, TREASURER

Adam Coleman assumed the USAFL Treasurer role in 2009. He moved to the USA in 1994 from Tasmania, and later became Coach of the North Carolina Tigers from 2003-2006.

Kat Hogg

KATHRYN HOGG, MEMBER-AT-LARGE | Minnesota Freeze | USA Freedom

Kathryn has been involved with Footy in the USA since 2003 and now plays for the Minnesota Freeze. She was the leading driver behind the current day USAFL women's competition. Kathryn has represented the USA Freedom at all events including the 2011 International Cup.
