David Bryant

Originally from Geelong, Australia, Dave is from a dedicated Essendon Bombers and local GFL club St.Joeys football family.  He has played Australian Football on 3 continents over the past 30 years including St.Josephs FC, Geelong; Flinders Park FC, Adelaide; West London Wildcats FC, London and the last 10 at the Houston Lonestars FC.

Dave’s football club administration experience includes serving on the Committee of the West London Wildcats 2002-2003 and President of Houston Lonestars 2014-2017. He has also held various other Board positions at the Lonestars including Football Operations, Sponsorship and Community Partners/Charities.

Dave has been an assistant coach of the Lonestars men and women at various times over his 10 years and was the Texas Heat Womens coach in 2018. He is a registered USAFL Umpire and now umpires at most local games and tournaments, but still loves playing and kicking sneaky goals from the pocket at Nationals.

In 2015 & 2016 Dave received the USAFL Paul O'Keefe Administrators Award. He was elected to the USAFL Executive Board as Central Region VP for the 2018 season. Within the Executive Board, Dave heads up the USAFL Development Committee. He also is the league ambassador for the USAFL Movember campaign which in the last 2 years has seen the league raise over $54,000.

In his role on the Executive Board, Dave is passionate about the long-term growth and strategy of the league in tandem with the AFL and local Player, Coaching and Club Development.
