Grilla Set to Announce Again at Nationals

According to USAFL President Mark Wheeler, "The Grilla is needed to sell the full package to the USA".  Indeed, several players and supporters remarked from past years that the cross over caller was something unique that added to the Nationals experience.  Grilla was also at the recent USAFL College Championships held in Nashville, showcasing his skills in front of a huge enthusiastic crowd.

This year's Championships in Milwaukee will feature over 600 players representing the top 24 Australian Rules Football clubs in the United States competing for the national title. The event also will include booths featuring Australian foods and beverages, Australian merchandise, USAFL club and tournament gear, the chance to win a Harley Davidson 1200C Custom XL Sportster, and the chance to bid for goods donated by organizations that include the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bulls, West Coast Eagles, and Empire Sports Management at the Accenture National Championships Banquet ... Wisconsin Tailgate Style.

The history of the National tournament began in Cincinnati in 1997 where it stayed for three years. Since then, it has been played in Los Angeles in 2000, Washington DC in 2001, Kansas City in 2002 and 2003, Atlanta in 2004, and this year in Milwaukee.
