USFOOTY Player Registration Sign Up Open!

The new usfooty player registration system launched last night and is now ready for player registrations. At this point in time, players will need to register and pay individually, as their new password gets e-mailed to them directly vs. a club representative. As voted in at last years’ administrators’ conference at the national championships, this new user pays system is imperative for the further development of usfooty as we progress into our second decade of existence. Additional funds generated by this new system (given that club dues have been halved), will go directly back into development of aussie rules here in the USA. Key areas identified include the resurrected club grant program, where clubs can apply for a grant for additional funds to assist with club development activities (juniors, umpires, promotion and marketing, player recruitment and development etc.). Other key areas include umpiring, player development/scholarships, our men’s and women’s national teams, website redesign and marketing/promotion activities.

The USAFL Board is excited at the potential for the next decade and we continue to work hard to strive toward our goals:

Ø       That the USAFL is recognized as the best run amateur Australian football league in the world, including Australia.

Ø       To have 10,000 US participants in 10 years.

Ø       1% of the US population knows what the game is about.

Ø       The game remains community based.
