A fond farewell

Today is the last day in an important three year stretch of the USAFL's short history.  Today is the last day of Julie Upton's tenure as the League's Office Manager.

Julie took the reigns of the USFL's administration at a time when the sign on the door could have read “under construction”. The League needed a major administration overhaul. Three years later it is like night and day - we have a smoothly working office and documented process for everything the league does. Plus, we have an annual detailed plan on how to run Nationals.  The large and small changes we have made are myriad.

The results are remarkable and the league is set up for its next 10 years.

On behalf of us all I would like to thank Julie for all her hard work and, most importantly, the passion she has shown for our game.  We wish Julie the best of luck as she moves on to bigger and better undertakings.

I ask for your patience over the next month as we transfer the office and transition a new office manager.

Julie, thanks for everything.
