Australian Football Fans in North America Get Pre-Season Perk

Live Setanta Sports Coverage of NAB Cup Kicks Off on February 16, offered for first time ever to fans outside Australia

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, February 8, 2008 - Aussie Rules supporters are in for a treat this pre-season, as live coverage of the NAB Cup will air throughout North America starting on February 16th and run during weekends through to the Final on March 8th. The NAB Cup is the warm-up competition of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest
professional level of play in Australian Football. The tournament runs for four weeks before the start of the regular premiership season, involving all 16 clubs in a knockout competition with the Grand Final played at night. The NAB Cup is known for using the event to introduce
new players and experimental game rules.

The NAB Cup is available exclusively on Setanta Sports via broadband at www.setanta.com_ and on DIRECTV and Dish Network as well as in commercial settings such as sports bars and pubs nationwide.

With this commitment to providing fans access to some of the highlight matches of the tournament, Setanta Sports builds upon its three-year agreement with the AFL to broadcast the sport in North America. In this, the second year, the international sports broadcaster is offering pre-season live coverage of one game a week of the NAB Cup, and live coverage of the NAB Cup Final on March 8th. Broadcast of the pre-season competition is a first for footy fans outside of Australia. A complete coverage schedule is posted at _www.afana.com/tvsched_.
