2018 Seattle Grizzlies Exemption Request for Matt Leinbaugh

Matt is the perfect example of a team player. He had knee surgery in June and paid for his team membership in March. He attended almost every practice this season, teaching the new players to hand pass and then to kick when he knee healed up a bit. He was a positive influence on every practice, always encouraging people and was emotional support for other injured players. Matt was at almost every game, home and away, supporting the team and helping run the benches. He was a constant presence this year with his injury being the only reason he didn't make points. He is finally cleared after a year of hard work, and should definitely be able to take the field at nationals.
