2023 New York Magpies Exemption Request for Shane Lowry

Shane is a longstanding Australian member of our team. He has attended many Nationals tournaments in the past, even as captain / coach. Never one for administrative duties, Shane and his growing family moved back to Australia around the Holiday period in 2022. A series of family issues brough the family back to the States before the summer in 2023. The addition of his third child in this period, as well as the purchase of a house in need of renovations has occupied all of his spare time. Shane has played numerous games for the club this season, and would have accrued enough qualification points easily. I feel his late registration was mostly related to not being sure he would be able to leave the family for the weekend, but we are glad to have him avalaible.
