USAFL 25th Anniversary ~ 1997-2022

The USAFL is proud to celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2022.

On September 6th, 1997, the first Nationals was held in Cincinnati, Ohio. During the Saturday evening, a meeting behind the barn took place with a small group of AFL- loving Aussies and took the leap to start the United States Australian Football Association. The rest is history. 

From an infamous start to the current evolution of the United States Australian Football League, the game has evolved and grown over the last 25 years. It now hosts the largest single weekend of Aussie Rules Tournament Football in the World (including Australia) every October when Nationals comes around.

ANNIVERSARY GALA DINNER 

• The highlight of the year will be the Anniversary Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 13th in Ontario, California to kick off Nationals weekend and celebrate the clubs, members, sponsors and support the USAFL Foundation.

CLUB HERITAGE EVENTS

• Club Heritage Members(man & woman) who have been instrumental to the club over the last 25 years
• Club 25th Anniversary Teams
• Club Heritage Round - a special game that is important to the history of the club. Best on Ground player will receive a special 25th Anniversary BOG medal

LEAGUE & NATIONALS HERITAGE EVENTS

• USA Revolution Mens 25th Anniversary Team
• USA Freedom Womens 25th Anniversary Team
• Best team of Nationals (Men and Women) based on Division 1 Best and Fairest over the years
• Best Finals Teams at Nationals (Men and Women) based on Div 1 Grand Final BOG’s over the years
• Special Reunion Division at Nationals for those who have hung up the boots
