Sep 27, 2024 2024 USAFL Nationals Divisions AnnouncedThe USAFL is proud to announce the seedings for the seven divisions to be contested at the 2024 USAFL National Championships at the Onion Creek Soccer Complex in Austin, Texas. This year's tournament features 45 teams from across the USA and Canada. Sarbacker has a deep-rooted history with the USAFL garnering numerous accolades and making significant contributions to both club and country, as well as administrative positions with the league itself. Aug 25, 2024 August 2024 Odin Mortgage Coaches PollsTime stops for no one, and rarely does the USAFL season. The 2024 AFL TransAtlantic Cup has dominated the attention of the international Aussie Rules world for the past month. But back home, the march towards Nationals carried on with sixteen men’s games and two women’s games. There were slight effects thereof upon the August edition of the Odin Mortgage Polls. Aug 10, 2024 TAC Day 8 - Revos Rout Canada, Advance to FinalThere have been 25 years of USA Revolution football. Many unique moments of glory across many dozens of players in locations all over the world. But never have they played themselves into a tournament final. Archrival Canada, despite their best efforts, were no match for the Revos in the 2024 AFL Transatlantic Cup semifinal. Thanks to a 65-11 victory, Kyle Strenski’s team will face off against Ireland on Sunday at 1:45pm ET/10:45am PT in their first ever tournament Grand Final. Read more » |
Aug 9, 2024 TAC Day 7 - Freedom Pip Canada For First Finals BerthVictory and defeat are fickle. They can be decided by wide gulfs or minute margins. The USA Freedom will be playing for a championship thanks to the knuckles of Amanda Boe. It wasn’t a knockout punch, but rather a timely jab of the football over the line in the dying seconds of Team USA’s semifinal match against Canada. The 14-13 win was the first for the Freedom over the Northern Lights in twelve years, and punched their ticket into the 2024 AFL TransAtlantic Cup Grand Final. Read more » |
Aug 7, 2024 TAC Day 6 - Revos Edge Ireland in ThrillerRecords are made to be broken. So are droughts. In six matches, the Irish Warriors have downed the USA Revolution four times. The last American victory was in the third place game IC05, which gave the Revos their best ever finish. After a scrappy game that was not for the faint of heart, the U.S. came from behind in a feverish fourth quarter to pip Ireland 53-51 in one of the best games in program history. The win left them as the best Americas side at the 2024 AFL TransAtlantic Cup, and will roll them into a semifinal against Canada on Friday. Read more » |

Coming in, they would know exactly what they would need to accomplish in order to advance to the semi-finals. Aug 5, 2024 TAC Day 4 - Britain Outplays Revos in Game 2It has been 22 years since the men of Great Britain and the USA Revolution played Aussie Rules football. The Revos won both matches in 2001 and 2002, and won both. It took two decades for the Bulldogs to flip the script, and they did so with authority. Pinning the Revos back from the opening 30 seconds, Great Britain picked apart the Revos from the second quarter on and despite playing bravely in the back half and getting their chances forward, the Doggies were 47-26 victors at the 2024 AFL TransAtlantic Cup. Aug 4, 2024 TAC Day 3 - Freedom Kick Away over FranceMomentum is a funny thing. Sometimes it lasts a few minutes, sometimes a few games. For the USA Freedom, the boost they got from their fourth quarter against Ireland in their opener carried forward into all four stanzas against Les Gauloises de la France in Game Two. Seizing control from the opening ball up, the Americans put on a stunning display of offense against a game, but outmatched, French team, scoring a 125-0 victory at the 2024 AFL TransAtlantic Cup in Toronto.
