Leilani Silvio was raised in Rio, Brazil where it's always summer and she misses that a lot since she loves the outdoors and the beach. Lani went to school for Hospitality Management but changed industries in 2015 and started working at a bank so she could have weekends off to play footy. When her and her husband lived in Boston, they were introduced to Aussie Rules by an Australian friend (Thanks Cam!). She fell in love with the sport and kept getting more and more involved.
In 2017, along with other fellow players, she started a women's team in LA and got elected as Vice-President. She loves that footy is such a huge part of her life and couldn't see herself without it anymore.
