Jonathan Mills

Jonathan, or “Millsy” as he is known on the field, has been a member of the USAFL since 2002 and currently serves as the first elected President of the United States Australian Football League Umpires Association. 

In 2012, Millsy became just the third non-Australian Field Umpire to be accredited at Level 2.  He was the recipient of the 2011 USAFL Umpire Scholarship and traveled to Australia for the 2011 International Cup.  Career highlights include working as the 4th umpire for the Men’s International Cup 2011 Grand Final at the MCG, field umpire for 2011 International Cup Women’s Grand Final, and field umpire for the Men’s and Women’s 2012 and 2013 49th Parallel Cup Tournaments.  

Millsy is also entering his 34th year as a referee for amateur, high school and college soccer.  He lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Shelly, and daughter Audrey and works for National General Insurance as a Telecommunication Analyst.
