Alistair MacGlashan

Al grew up both in Melbourne and the Geelong coastal region of Victoria. He played most of his junior football in the Colac and District Football League (Birregurra and Apollo Bay), playing senior football in the Geelong and District Football League (Belmont Lions). Al moved to Chicago in 1999 where he currently lives with his wife Lisa, daughter Kathryn and son Hamish. Based in Chicago, he is an Australian Beef Importer with Teys USA Inc. Since moving to the States Al has played for Chicago United (formerly the Chicago Swans) and held the positions of Vice-President, Treasurer and Assistant Coach of the club as well as a Director of the MAAFL. He has played in all 4 of Chicago’s MAAFL Championships (2001, 2007, 2008 and 2009).
