USAFL President

It is with great regret that the USAFL announce that current President, Richard Mann will be returning to Australia in 2002 and will be stepping down as President at this years AGM, to be held on October 13th.

Rich has been instrumental in the development of the USAFL, commencing with one of the original clubs, the Cincinnati Dockers in 1997. He enjoyed three successful years with Cincinnati and was instrumental in hosting the first ever Nationals Tournament in Cincinnati.

Rich was the USAFL Central Region Vice President in 1998 and in 1999 Rich stepped into the role of President. As the second USAFL President Rich has guided the league during its formative years with considerable success. Rich has worked closely with the AFL and achieved a significant increase in the USAFLs funding.

Richard has been a great asset to the League and on behalf of the USAFL and all its members I would like to take this opportunity to commend and thank Rich for his hard work and dedication to the USAFL since its inception in September 1997.

We look forward to his continual involvement with the USAFL in the position of AFL Liaison and Pan-Am Delegate to the AFL International Development Committee in 2002.
