GGAFL seeks coach

The Golden Gate Australian Football League (GGAFL) is seeking a coach for our Division 1 representative team, the Golden Gate Roos. We are seeking an applicant who has the enthusiasm, skills and ability to take us further into the top echelon of U.S. Football, and put into place processes and procedures to ensure the well being of our great game in the Bay Area.

Duties will include coaching/playing with one of the 5 teams in the GGAFL, running clinics and training sessions at the discretion of the Board, and creating a liaison arrangement with Jeff Findsand, who runs our junior program. We offer over 90 players currently on our books, a great support staff already in place, and a fantastic bunch of supporters to go with it all. In the past 2 Nationals, we have taken 2 teams, over 70 people both times, and the results on the field were only matched by the great times we had off the field.

The GGAFL is totally committed to being the best we can be, both on and off the field, and this should be considered of paramount importance to each and every applicant for the coaching position. While the position is basically honorary, out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed, and the Coach will also have a budget to work within, to ensure the utmost competitiveness of the Golden Gate Roos, and the continued growth of the GGAFL. All applications/questions can be sent to the President of the GGAFL at leigh_barnes@dot.ca.gov

Applications will remain the property of the GGAFL and will be held in confidence.
