The first ever USAFL game held in the state of Maine saw the newly minted hosts (0-1) play gamely but go down to the established team from Beantown (1-0).  The Cats, augmented with players from AFL Quebec and AFL Nova Scotia, will get their chance for revenge in Boston on June 2nd.  (Report)

JOHN HARRELL CUP – OHIO VALLEY RIVER RATS v INDIANAPOLIS GIANTS – Louisville, Kentucky

Two weeks after dropping a heartbreaker to the Giants (1-1) at home, Ohio Valley (1-1), made up of players from Cincinnati and Louisville, got redemption in their second home in the Bluegrass State.  The win gave Cincy stalwart Liam Shanahan a great big present on the occasion of his 50th birthday.  The rubber match of the season series is in Indy on August 18th. South Beach and Riverside both began their 2018 SCAFL Campaigns with a victory, as both the Lions and LA Dragons debuted new American talent.  Riverside (0-1) will try to bounce back against the Lions (1-0), while the Outlaws (1-0) will face the Orange County Bombers in their first game of the year. BCAFL Round 3 – Vancouver, British Columbia
Men: Vancouver Cougars 14.17.101 def Seattle Grizzlies 2.4.16
Women: Vancouver Vixens 3.1.19 def by Seattle Grizzlies 15.11.101

Amanda Boe kicked eight majors as the Grizzlies women made it three-for-three in BCAFL play with a 82 point win over the Vixens North of the Border.  Seattle’s men, meanwhile, dropped an 84-point decision to the Cougars to drop to 1-2.  (Reports: Women, Men)
