Matt Bishop Resigns as Revolution Head Coach

Matt Bishop has resigned from his role as the Revolution Head Coach. The USAFL would like to thank Matt for his services over the last six years, where he maintained a 10-4 win/loss record, taking the Revolution to a 4th place finish at the 2011 International Cup and 8th at the 2014 International Cup.

Matt contributed many significant innovations to the program, including Google Hangouts, Coach’s Eye, video review, the creation of the Leadership group, the Culture and Behaviors program, the use of statistics and assistant coaches and the creation of the Development Squad.

What certainly can’t be questioned is the enormous amount of time Matt dedicated to the program over the last six years. We wish Matt the best of luck with his continued development of the Sacramento Suns and the impending birth of his first child. Thank you for your services to the USAFL.
