2013 Los Angeles Dragons Exemption Request for Scott Doerner

Scott started training with our club months ago, but was doing so purely for fitness reasons. As he’s continued to get to know the guys and become more involved, he’s expressed interest in playing. He recently participated in our game against San Diego (9/29) and internal match (9/22). He will be playing in our game against OC this weekend (10/5) and will participate in our last internal match on 10/13. On face value, that would be enough to qualify him, however he didn’t register in time to get the first internal match point. Because of this, he will only have 5 points by the time Nationals arrives. We respectfully ask that the USAFL allow Scott to play for the LA Dragons division 2 side at Nationals, bearing in mind that: A) He is an American born player B) Had he registered before his 1st game, he would have enough points to qualify C) He will merely be 1 point short by Nationals
