"Mason, Ohio gives warm welcome to USAFL Executive Board in Preparation for national championships"

The USAFL Executive Board will venture to Mason, Ohio this week for it's annual series of strategic meetings.

In conjunction with these meetings, the board will also be represented at a press conference, promoting this years’ upcoming 2009 USAFL National Championships to be held in Warren County, Ohio.

Steve Price from 2UE Sydney interviews New York Magpies

Sydney 2UE Radio broadcaster Steve Price is in New York as part of the festivities surrounding Gday USA this week and the inauguration in Washington. Steve discovered to his surprise Aussie Rules footy was actually played here in the USA  and invited players from the New York Magpies men's and women's teams to the studio for a chat.

Aussies winners in NFC Wild Card playoffs

Ben Graham and Sav Rocca moved into week two of the NFL playoffs after their teams both came up trumps. Graham’s Cardinals yesterday defeated the Atlanta Falcons 30 - 24 as Graham punted six times for a net average of 34.7 yards including four inside 20 and three of those inside the 10 yard line.

Rocca’s Philadelphia Eagles today defeated the Minnesota Vikings 26 – 14, with Rocca punting four times for a net average of 44 yards and a longest punt of 58 yards. All Rocca’s punts were inside the 20 yard line.
